In October 22, 2004 , the occupation forces committed an unexpected crime against the leadership of Al-Qassam Brigades. Most of the Qassam leaders were will-prepared to be assassinated except Adnan Al-Ghoul. He was not the aim of the Zionist aircrafts but his comrade Imad Abbas. It is not the leader who was expected to in the aimed car but his assistant. So the fate has the big role in the operation of assassinating Adnan Al-Ghoul.

Three years after the assassination reminded us of this great Engineer in Al-Qassam Brigades who was targeted for 18 years when making simple explosives in 1988. It was a sudden death but he always dreamed of such a moment to be a martyr.

Adnan Al-Ghoul, 46 years old, from the Meghraqah neighborhood, one of the commanders of the Brigades and top explosives engineer. He helped in implementing a number of projects including the manufacture of Qassam rockets and the latest of which was the production of “Al-Yassin”, an anti-armor missile.

Adnan Al-Ghoul was an explosive expert since 1988, the first Intifada and was targeted more than once by Zionist occupation. He is also the father of two Qassam martyrs.

Many attempts failed …

The Zionists tried to assassinate Adnan Al-Ghoul many. The first attempt when he was in the PA prison, the Zionists tried to poison his coffee. But Allah wanted him alive to complete his fighting and his resistance against the Zionist army.

Another big attempt, which also failed, when he was coming back after launching the first Qassam Rocket The pilot thought that the life of Adnan was in his hand when launching his missiles but the he failed and Anan was alive. Belal ( his eldest son ) was martyred in this wicked attempt.

A third attempt was when a huge number of Zionist bulldozers and tanks came to his house thinking that he was there but they failed and Adnan was alive. His second son Mohammad and his nephew Emran were martyred in this failure attempt.

A sudden death … Allah wills not the Zionists

Many attempts failed to give a clear evidence that Allah is the one who can make death to people not anyone else.

A Zionist drone fired two missiles at a car traveling through the Yafa Road at the center of Gaza city at 21:05 Thursday murdering Adnan al-Ghoul and Imad Abbas, a top Hamas engineer, wounding of a number of passers-by.
