Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest Raids Target Women, Children and collective Intimidating Acts against Nablus

On 31 March 2006, the Israeli occupation army lunched military offensive dubbed "ongoing pressure" which premeditated to wage a staged attrition against 15,000 population of Nablus district.
Residents of Nablus city and its four refugee camp get aware of their daily calendar, unlike of their species, with the advent of the midnight, tens of the Israeli armored personnel carriers were deploying in several Nablus' neighborhoods under the relentless burst of shotguns, a prelude for any impending incursions and storming-ins against those who survived it the night before.
Yesterday Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army ran amok in its campaign in which 7 of the wives and mothers of the Palestinian fighters or so- called by the occupation "wanted" in a move to compel them to surrender themselves.
Amongst the arrestees identified the mothers of fighters Sufyian Qandeel, Hani Ewejan, Sami Estaita, Ameen Lebada and the wide of N***er Akoub, the wife and the mother -in -law of the fighter Fadi Qfesha in addition two other youths Hussam Mefleh and Nidda Ameera were rounded up.
All the arrestees were led the Israeli occupation army camp Hewara as all were subjected to questioning.
The wife of fighter N***er Akoub said "we have been questioned separately, took photos of us and threatened to re-arrest us again should the wanted fighters surrender."
She added "the army threatened to arrest me and my sons to force N***er to give in."
The arrest raid accompanied with blatant havoc to the houses stormed by the soldiers. Qandeel family's house was totally messed up and rummaged through to the extent that the soldiers destroyed the ground of the house.
Usually, before the Israeli occupation force left Nablus, they kept many arcane military posts that were installed in downtown of the Old town in the gloomy dark.
In Wednesday's Israeli incursion into the mostly densely populated area of the district, Old Town, wounded 11 residents were wounded with the live rounds and rubber coated steel bullets, medics reported.
The casualties of the ongoing IOF offensive against Nablus for 20 days yielded more than 150 wounded peoples in addition to one killed by a rubber coated bullet shot from close range at his head.
Dr. Hussam Al Juharri , director of Raphedia hospital said that most the casualties targeted by the Israeli soldiers in the upper parts of the body in particular the head with rubber coated steel bullets.
He underlined the dangers of rubber bullets as of that made of metal wrapped with tiny layer of plastic "one of these bullets killed the teen Hussam Al Shafeai that carved through his head few days ago."
The arrest campaign never unabated mostly was concentrated amongst the teens less than 18-year old.
Mohammed Al Qabejj, director of the education directorate in Nablus district said that 26 male and female students were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces since 3/4/2006 up till now. He indicated that such a number included only the students of government-run school.
Mr. Al Qabejj underscored that the most things endanger the education process is not the arrest by the daily incursion which disrupted the education process and hindered hundreds students to attend their cl***es.
"For example, the study has been broken out yesterday and yesterday before in Amro Bin Al *** and Abu Hazm schools meanwhile most schools in the old town of the city and its environs were disrupted." Al Qabejj said, adding "a few days ago the study did not go smoothly in 80% of Nablus schools due to the operations of the Israeli army."
He added" the IOF military checkpoints installed at the entrances of the city also prevented yesterday 150 teachers to reach their schools in the nearby villages and towns as well as it bars for 11 days 30 teachers to reach their workplaces outside the city because their age is below 30s."
